What You Can Expect
Expect Personal Attention. We are in direct contact with our clients and do not employ superintendents or project managers. This helps us to eliminate confusion and stay in touch with the project on a day to day basis. We are on the job sites daily and are in tune with every phase of the construction process.
Expect Quality. Most the subcontractors we work with have worked along side us for over 15 years. This has helped to streamline the process and improve our homes throughout the years. No matter the size or price of your home you will see the same craftsmanship in each one and the same quality of construction.
Expect Honesty. If we say we are going to do it, we will do it. At the end of the day we want each and every homeowner to be satisfied with their new home. Part of that is eliminating surprises associated with building expenditures. We are extremely up front during the planning stage of construction so that everyone is on the same page moving forward.
Three Stages of Home Building
Planning Stage: During this stage we gather information about what you want in your new home. If you don’t have a particular floor plan picked out, we have several that we can show you to help narrow down your search. You may also want to build from scratch. We work with local designers that will assist as you personally design your next home. That is the beauty of a custom build compared to the cookie cutter builders. You get it exactly like you want it. Location is another important factor. We can build on your lot or ours. If you do not currently have a lot check our inventory in the available homes section of our website here. Once we know where and what you are going to build, then we can provide a detailed specification list based on your features with pricing terms. After the plans and permits are finalized we now can begin the building stage.
Building Stage: Now the fun begins as you watch the house grow and take form. There are a lot of decisions that will need to be made during this stage and we do our best to make sure you are prepared for each one. We will direct you to the appropriate vendors to pick out your new features and will be available for any questions you may have along the way. Being onsite nearly every day helps us keep you informed on the progress and schedule of construction. The duration of this period will vary depending on the size and complexity of the project. As we get closer to your closing date we will begin to assist you in getting ready to take ownership during the “move in stage”.
Move-in Stage: Now that your home is complete we will begin to prepare for your closing date. Before you take possession we will do a final walk through prior to closing and address all of your touch up needs. We will also walk through room to room to answer any questions you may have on the functions of the home. For the first year of your home we provide a One–year builder warranty which means we stand behind all structural and mechanical issues with your home that may arise. We suggest your home go though one cooling season and one heating season in order for it to properly adjust to the new environment. Once it has we will then go back to repair any issues that you have.
